Morales Farmhouse Restoration

Morales Farmhouse Restoration

PHC Construction led a volunteer effort with local Bainbridge farming advocacy group, Friends of the Farms, to sustainably renovate a three-bedroom, 58-year-old farm house. This was an extreme make over with all new windows, doors, walls, flooring, kitchen and various interior touches that made the house a home again. The house also received revamped electrical, plumbing, and energy-efficient upgrades — including a heat pump and soy foam insulation. The newly energy efficient house is now occupied by farm interns – a cozy home after a long day on the farm.

“This is the kind of project I’ve been looking to do for a while, I’ve been building in Kitsap County and Bainbridge for 30 years. It’s been good to me. It’s time for me to give back.”
– Marty Sievertson – Owner of PHC
